Cabelas carrying Trophy Ridge Mantis sights
I'm kinda at a loss with these sights. They look pretty cool, but what does that knob in the back do? Cabelas is carrying it right now and I see the price is pretty salty.
What's with the Guide series sights. Did they finally break down and make an all metal sight? Thats the only guff I have with them.

MM,
I just got the Spring Turkey Catalog myself and spent a great deal of time scanning it myself. That "knob" I believe is for a new drive system that lets you adjust the sight from the "back end". I forget what the catchy term for it is in the description but it sounds kind of cool.
I must have missed the term "Guide Series sights" but I did see the TR Guide Dropzone rest.
Anyone else notice that Parker is now offering their bows through Cabelas? I thought they were pro shop only???
...and that new limb vibration dampener from NAP looked rather intriguing as well.

The Mantis is a Pendulum sight .The knob your refuring to is the V Drive System patent pending 50% less moving parts .By turning the knob you can vetically adjust the sight over 1 1/2 inches of vertical range. The average 260 fps bow will have a sight range of over 60 yards.
The guide series has micro adjustments for windage and elevation.
You will now only have to losen a set srew turn the micro adjustment knobs to get pin point accurace.
You won't have to worry about unlosing your allen bolt and moving it to much or not enough.
I have not yet tried any of these new products ,but will.
I have a catalog here in front of me 2004 that came to me staight from TR.
I'm a staff shooter for the company so i will be testing things out.
I like what i see so far,and i am shooting with the 5 pin Metal Matrix <3D and Hunting.
I hope this info helps .
