Yes its a stiff shaft. I shoot the 300's at 70 lbs. and thats right on the limit. 400's are I believe 8.6 grains per inch (black) and spined for roughly 65 to about 80 lbs.

Good Luck!

Cloud 9 is correct. I shot the Carbon Express 400s for a couple years with relatively favorable results. They are a bit on the heavy/stiff side compared to most of the other typical ICS shafts on the market...comparable to a Beman ICS 340...as that is what I am shooting now. $37 for a half dozen is a good deal provided they are in good condition. I would check to make sure there are no cracks around the nock area...my only real complaint about them.

The deflection rating is between a 340 class (A/C/C 3-60) and a 300 class (A/C/C 3-71) shaft. (it's right around 320)

They are meant for heavy poundage.

That's what I thought! I already bought someCarbon ExpressTerminator Hunters 6075's not knowing what I was buying they are a heavy spline but I might try using them with my Patriot dually for the moose ,Are they too heavy for me still? or are they O.k. for just hacking around ? this shaft I bought 2 yrs ago and Gary told me not to use them with my bow because they were too heavy .

If you are using them with a Patriot Dually then I don't think they are too stiff of a spine or too heavy of a shaft.

When I first got my '03 Pat Dually I shot several arrow shafts through the chrono to get an idea of the speeds with heavy arrows. Out of the box at 71/29 with a 581.4 grain 2317 XX75 it did 255 fps and the arrow flight and accuracy at 20 yards was great. Those heavy arrows sure hit hard!!!
