Default My 04 Patriot Dually has arrived!

Friday morning I went to my shop and picked up my dually since I brought it home I haven't had much chance to get out and shoot it -20 here in Ontario I shot a few arrow's through it Sunday but only shot a bout 6 arrow's ,it definetly has a short valley that will take some getting used to .It's a rocket compared to what I normally shoot and so far I love it .When I get a better chance to get it out ,{when it's not so cold} I'll post my opinion on this bow and I'll try to get some pic's as well. It certainly didn't take long for this bow to come in,I was told it wouldn't be in for at least 3 week's but it showed up 2 day's later .Now that's service.

Glad to hear it got there so quick

Let us know how it shoots when ya get it up & running. I was impressed w/ the ones we had at the ATA show. Very quick and quieter than the 2003 models.

Did you notice much difference between that one and your "other 04"?

I definetly did notice the difference between MY OTHER 04 haha,The riser is totally different .The riser is a bit longer than the 03 and the limb's are shorter the riser is also thicker through the base where I attach my sight ,The sight is at it's max and can no longer be moved out any further >Gary had a problem setting it up for center shot but we found the cam's needed to be pushed over and that they kind of snapped into position and all seem's well now .I'm not sure if this was the way it was supposed to be,Gary will be checking this out for me at the ATA in Toronto. I now have centershot and I just need to get some half decent weather to get out with it .It definetly caught me off gaurd with the speed ,it will take some time but I know this bow is awsome .

Nubo, that's one of the bows that I'm considering as well so I expect a full thorough review with lots of pictures of the bow and accessories.

Nubo, did you say that your dealer changed the cam's position between the limb's forks to get center shot with your rest and sight???

You shouldn't be able to move the cam at all, there should be no play. I can't imagine moving the cam .006 inches and it making any difference at all in your center shot or tune. Wish I could see the bow!!!!! Can you post a pic??

Nubo,
Glad you finally got it, can't wait to hear what you think after shooting it awhile, the bow you just got is on my very short list.

Nubo,
I would like to know what you mean when you say you moved the cams over. There should be no way you can move the cams to the right or left. They have a .040 spacer between cam and limb. Is there a spacer in between cam and limb? The "snapped into place" comment has me thinking the spacer is missing. The maximum tolerance for movement of the cams form side to side should be .003.

I posted under my wife's profile, she pointed out your comments, and I had already typed my response when I realized I was under her profile.
