Default New Release?

I have an older caliper release. I think it has too much give in it which in turn makes drawing my bow set @ 70lbs w/ a string loop much more difficult than pulling it back with fingers. I hear a lot about scott releases, will they help any or is this just the draw back of wrist-style releses. Oh, I've tightened everything I could on the release. Thanks.

i use a single caliper scott little goose with a d-loop this combination works like a dream for me and for my uncle as well. he is the one who turned me on to it. i also have my scott release set on hair trigger for back tension shooting. this also works very well becuase im not comfortable with the back tension releases.

You really should try a True Flight hurricane glove. You will be amazed at what a differance this release makes compared to a strap style release.

I switched to this release for much the same reasons you are talking about. I always got a pinching strain right on the knuckles of my wrist with the straps.
