Anyone shot 04 Bowtech Patriot Dually?
Has anyone shot the 04 Patriot Dually? Do the cams feel smoother than the 03 Pat Dually? What about the valley on 04? Do you like the grip better on 04? My dealer does not have any in stock for me to shoot right now. Just curious, trying to decide between a Hoyt Ultratech or the Patriot Dually, I do not care for one cams. Thanks!

Not yet but I hope to soon. The local dealer is also supposed to be getting the dual cam models in shortly....I think one of the other guys has one though.

I've shot the 04 Duallys, and own 03 Duallys. I'd say on the Patriot the valley is pretty much the same as last year. The cams are a little smoother, and easier to pull back. To me, it feels like they start to stack weight sooner, but the draw force curve is flatter. The break over into the valley is also lessened. Until I get my 04 P40 Dually shot in and tuned, I really can't comment on the wall. I didn't notice a big difference on the Patriot, re: wall. But I didn't shoot them side by side. After shooting both, I'm undecided on the grip. The 04 grip has more heel to it. I like both grips, just not enough time with the 04 to decide at this point. I think given the other improvements (pivoting limb pockets, bearings, new riser, etc), the 04 is a better version of a very good bow. Here's my P40.

I didn't get a chance to shoot the '04 Pat Dually yesterday.. but I did get to draw one.. and got to shoot the '04 Pro40 Dually. Very nice... valley was a little shorter than I was expecting. But this was the 1st time I've shot a dually and only bows I've shot in several years were the single cams.. so that's what I was used to. Bow shot very nicely though. One of the guys had a custom dually that had the brace height of a black night but the length of a pr40 (or so) and was shooting 358 fps at 67lb w/ a 350 gr arrow. This was w/ the "high" letoff mods. They said he was shooting 362 w/ the "low" let off mods.s Simply amazing!!!
