I've just started fiddling with the Trophy Takers. I have a Shakey Hunter and the original. The Shakey is easily the better of the two for hunting, IMO. Both were easy to set up and work great.

Phil:

Thought I remember you using the NAP drop aways. How does the Trophy Taker compare, IYO?

I have had both the Trophy Taker and the MZE. Both are great rests, but I still have not seen enough evidence that drop away rests in general really provide better accuracy or forgiveness. The do give you total fletch clearance if you are set up right.

The MZE definitely has the arrow containment advantage over the TT for hunting. I did have the standard TT, not the Shaky though.
