Which Bowtech?

What would you go with?
What would you go with?
Without a doubt, both of them for sure...
Now for a more serious reply.
I'm assuming you're talking about the Patriot single cam, not the Dually.
IMO both of these bows are great choices and each has something different to offer.
I think you'll find the Patriot has a little bit harsher force draw curve than the Liberty which is one of the reasons the Patriot shoots approx. 20 fps. faster than the Liberty.
The Patriot also has 1/2" less brace height than the Liberty too meaning it will be less forgiving but not critical by any means.
Even though the Patriot is faster, in my opinion shooting both of these bows side by side, I can't tell any difference in recoil or hand shock, it just seems pretty much non exisitent to me.
Personally, I'm still trying to decide if I want to use a Liberty, Patriot sc, Justice or Mighty Mite for my hunting rig this year???[:-]
It all boils down to personal preferences. I suggest you shoot both and base your decision on your findings...
Let us know what you choose today...

RE: Which Bowtech?
My decision is on hold......for the moment. Went to the shop and he had the Liberty, Patriot Dually, and a MightyMite...all '04. Really liked the Liberty out of the bunch, but he's getting in a Patriot Single Cam early next week. I'm reserving my decision until then, but it will definately be either the Liberty or Patriot single cam. I think I may like the extra speed I'd get out of the Patriot.
In terms of accessories, here is what I'm considering so please critique or suggest alternatives:
1. Copper John .29 5 pin or Copper John Pro .19 5 pin
2. Either a Trap Door, Trophy Ridge Drop Zone, or Shakey Hunter drop away rest
3. 4" Doinker.......$44! Gotta be a good stabilizer for less than that.
4. Alpine Archery 5 arrow removable bow quiver
5. Lil Goose Deluxe Release
6. Either a Tru-Peep (think it's "Tru-Peep".....the one that you look through the string) OR sticking with my No-Peep - haven't decided
7. XT 7590 Gold Tip arrows with 5 inch shield cut feathers
What would you do?
Thanks,
Fritz

RE: Which Bowtech?
Can someone explain to me the difference between the Extreme VFT and the Patriot Single cam? I have looked at the specs, so I know there is a small difference in brace and ATA, but the differences seem pretty small for two bows from one company. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Which Bowtech?
mrfritz, the Copper John sights are a very good choice. I prefer the Pro; more adjustments. I've had good, though limited, experiences with the Trophy Taker rests. The Doinkers are good, so are the Vibracheck Isolators. About the same money, though. I really like my Scott Lil Goose. Get the new design strap, much better. I haven't used the other accessories you've mentioned. I'm sure someone will comment on them.
The VFT won't have pivoting limb pockets or bearings in the cam and wheel, the Patriot does. The VFT has lower brace height. Those are the major differences. The VFT is cheaper. I'm not sure how much though.
