High Country Speed Pro Arrows
My dealer bought 1 dozen of these the other day for some of his speed freak customers (not me)
He cut two to test for himself (another speed freak)
When he tried to turn the nock - the arrow broke in half[] - no joke - 6 inches from the nock end it shattered in two.
He showed me the arrow and I proceded to inspect the remaining dozen.
I found two others with large cracks in them running about 6 or 7 inches long down the length of the arrow[:'(]
A disaster waiting to happen.
I understand any company can get a bad batch - but inspecters are paid for a reason. I relay this out of safety concerns.
If you have them or plan to get them look them over very carefully
The packaging they came in was not dented - and there was NO signs the damage came from shipping.
JFYI

I got & have sold these arrow with no problems. like any carbon arrow you should inspec them before shooting. you can get mfg. defects in product.I have received arrow from goldtip with this crack down the side I found the problem before it went out the door, called Goldtip & they replaced the bad arrows. CX arrows had cracking problems by the nock the replaced them also
maybe we the dealer are the final inspectors & you did your job well by finding the problem before it went out the door Thank you! call HCA they will make it right like the other MFG. did

RE: High Country Speed Pro Arrows
probably damaged during shipping overseas this sort of thing happens from time to time with all manufacturere not just CR
call 423-949-5000 and ask to speak with someone from customer service we will be happy to make them up for you,
some of the earlier models did have some surface cracks develop because of the type of finish but the cracks were only cosmetic not structural.

WOW... their carbon arrows crack just like the carbon riser bows...
