Trophy Ridge Users...I'll save you some $$$
For those of you who are using the Trophy Ridge sights that accept the "Nitro Sticks" I am willing to fill you in on a secret. I've seen a 5-pack of these sell for $8 at pro shops. Thats steep!!! The packing also says the sticks are good from 10-12 hours...I find that hard to believe. However, even if it were true, I guarantee you that one stick wouldn't last from the wee hours of morning til the sun sets, which is when you would need the extra light the most. Omni-Glow makes the lightsticks and what you want are the 1.5" or mini's, as they are commonly referred to. A more correct lumniscent time of 4-6 hours is given for the sticks. You can buy an entire box straight from the maunfacturer for roughly $25 or check out some of these other sites which go about $2.50 for 5. The other nice thing is the shelf life is increased. When you open the name brand package (QTY 5)unless used in a considerable amount of time, the remaining sticks' lighting ability is diminished. Most of the other retailers sell them individually wrapped, thus you don't have to worry about this problem. These are just a few sites, you might be able to find a cheaper site if you have more time on your hands. Try key words such as, OmniGlow or Cyalume.

Thanks for the info. I posted a while back on a thread about the matrix about how to make your flatliner utilize those light sources. It shouldn't be a big deal.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
