using IBO of 320-328: minus 10 fps for 29", minus 35 fps for arrow 125 grain over IBO, minus 4 fps for string add ons = 271 - 279 fps

using the bow shot by radman: minus 22 fps for 11# less draw weight, minus 21 fps for 75 grain heavier arrow, plus 20 fps for 2" extra draw length, add ons about same = 253 fps

take your pick??

it also was cranked up to 76#,
I would say that the scales at the shop are out Bowtech uses digital scales and would not let a bow out of the factory that far over the advertised draw weight

Oops!

On IBO, subtract another 10 fps for 5# less draw weight so = 261 - 269 fps

vs

radmans bow at 253 fps

Aussie guy;

I thought the same thing at first. But the extra draw weight explains the felt stiff draw cycle. I believe it was the draw weight not the draw curve.

We did not have a second scale handy at the shop so it could be off. The liberty marked at 71#, registered 70.5# on the scales. So, I felt the scales were close.

I am sure some others have chronod this bow by now. They need to post results. We are talking about 1 bow. It could be an aberration in either direction.

Thanks.

Hey,R-A,That 04 Patriot you were looking at,was it a single or the dual cam bow?I had an 03 SC Patriot,but I sold it because of the balance and the "harsh" draw cycle.How much better is the 04?...Bob

trestand - it was the 04 single cam. I shot it some more the other night. The draw force is comparible - no huge difference IMO. If anything it may pull of the backwall a litle more than the 03. But I did not get to really tweak the draw stop so it is unconlusive. The real difference IMO is the balance - spot on, and a much better feel than 03.

The of Pat seems to have a tad bit more vibration IMO than the 03. It has more speed and this was a bare bow so I am sure some "stuff" will get that little bit of vibration down to nothing. It is a nice feeling bow - no jump at all on the shot - it just sits there liek the 03's.

the bad news is the Liberty was sold before I could shoot it and now the Pat is sold before I was able to really set it up. And my dealer has not recieved the mighty might yet[:@]

So Matt...........It may not be until spring before I really get to shoot them up.[>:]
