RE: 2004 Extreme VFT...Initial Impressions
Nice looking bow Vic and some very impressive speeds to say the least. I have a question for you...what is the difference between an 80 lb EX VFT and an 80 lb Samson?

Jeff,
The camo is definitely sharper. I wish my photog skills were better.
Frank,
There is no difference, only a name change when you go above 80 lbs.
If its a 70 lber its an Extreme VFT; 80 & up it's a Samson

Not to be nitpicky but then this would be a Samson right?
Are the limbs, limb pockets, etc... specially reinforced for the extra draw weight...at least from what you can notice that is?

You are correct.
I just figured more people would recognize the Extreme VFT name.
I think I remember being told once that the limbs are the only difference. I'm pretty sure that the 100 lbers even use the same string and cables as the lower ones. That is the case with my 2001 100lb Samson.

Did anyone else notice the bottle of steroids laying on the 2x4 just below the sight?...LOL... I know I would need to take them to draw that much weight...
BTW, The pictures really don't do the new camo any Justice...

It does a body good!
Actually, that's my Asacol, so hopefully my inards will stay healthy and I will never have to use a colostomy bag.
More importantly is the Viper in the background, which I'll be cruising in come 2007 (an actual size one).
BTW, will a 2002 Patriot Infinity module fit the 2004 Extreme VFT Infinity?
Thanks.

Pat,
With the 2004 exactly on 29", I need the 30" mod. I'd like to see what it will do at true IBO.
Frank,
Actually I was counting on winning the Powerball by then.
