Bo539: "not as many moving parts as the ZE, and IMO Quieter."
I must be missing something on this statement. Someone else made a very similar statement on another thread.
The Trophy Taker has a moving arm, spring, and lanyard. The MZE has a moving arm pushed by a integrated piston. It doesn't have a spring so it is missing that third moving part.
With the spring, there has to be a stop to control its forward motion. Whenever you "stop" anything in motion, there is usually noise associated with it. The MZE does not have a stop but uses the natural stopping system of the cable(s)/slide. Therefore, there is no noise that myself or my instruments can detect in the operation of the MZE.
Am I wrong in any aspect of this analysis?
