Default RE: When does a pendulum sight become necessary?

I agree that the shorter draws guys suffer a bit. I' m one of them I think at 27" . However, I' ve tried pendelums off and on since the 70' s ( no, they aren' t new) and keep coming back to the single pin for hunting. Todays bows are more efficient so get more speed. My current setup is a Pearson Freedom, 27" , 54 lbs, shooting an ICS 500 with 100 gr InnerLoc. This etup chrono' s at 258 fps in hunting form. Sighted in for 25 yards the highest it arcs is a little less than 2" at 20 yards and only about 3" low at 30 yards. Now, that' s a spread of 5" . A deer' s vitals are about 8" . That pretty much means I can hold the middle of the chest and just shoot if the animal is inside 32 yards. Now who among us can' t tell the difference between 20 and 30 yards? No extra pins to mess up with, no yardage to worry about, no nothing. Just shoot your best form. Other advantages are that there are no moving parts to possibly " not pendelum" or make noise or otherwise go wrong. What can be more simple?
