RE: NOCKING POINT
In a word, NOPE.
It might be close to that point, but measuring from the axles is fruitless. The key is the nockpoint' s relation to the arrow rest. Most folks I know start at the rest mounting hole in the riser and place the nocking point a little (1/4" or so) above 90 degrees.
The hole location itself is not magic either. If you want to set your rest up where it holds the arrow above the hole, then your nocking point will be just a little farther up the string.

I bought (and so can you) a " bow square" , mine was a blue titanium one that costs about 15 dollars and includes a set of nocking pliers and some brass string nocks. It attaches to your string and you line it up in correspondence of where your arrow shaft sits on your rest. It has like a small ruler on the end of the square that sits parralel with the string so you can line your nock up at the right position. On the package it says for trigger shooters, line it 1/4 inch up from square with rest and square for finger shooters. Yeah.
