RE: Hey Pinwheel...
Jerry, Pinwheel does have a Max3000 for sale at archerytalk.com. It is a blue shop demo. 55-65lbs 27-29" draw. He is asking $540 and the msrp is$748 on this bow. I think you will like this bow. The grip is a little wider than the Max 2000, and I think it is a little more comfortable.

Jay--
Thanks for the assist!
Jerry-
The Rapid 2 cam is a much smoother cam than the original rapid cam. As far as draw cycle and what it' s like, well with the target module it is easier to draw than the Rapid cam you are shooting now, with the Turbo module it is stiffer. So of course, the target module is roughly 10ft slower than your Rapid cam, while the turbo is about 10 feet faster. Out of my Max 2000 with original rapid cam set at 28" AMO and 65lbs with a 328g arrow I could tweak 281fps. With the target mods on a Max 3000 rapid 2 and the same setup I registered 272fps, and with the turbo mods I got a flat 290.(with that blue bow on he AT classifieds which is a long-limb Max 3000. The short limb max is only about 4-5 feet faster than the long limb model)
But, you gotta go with the Omega. Once you do, you won' t look back. Ask anyone that shoots them, don' t just take my word on it. (altho that would of course always be wise too. LOL[&:]) Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

RE: Hey Pinwheel...
Thanks PW. Man I wish I had a Merlin dearler near me. Larry Wise' s shop is 3 hr. drive for me. I' d really like to shoot the omega cam. I just pick up a used darton mav from a darton rep. This is my fisrt non-duel cam bow since a Durango I had a few years back. I' m so programed to the duel cams. I really like the ability to tweak those duelies. Plus what would I do with myself if I couldn' t use my press.LOL. I got a quote from ya and that' s real tempting. I' m going to sit on this and see what 04 will bring. Then I can be really confused.LOL. What ever happens I will have a new Merlin this year. JERRY

Anytime Jerry. One thing is for certain, there will be alot of Merlins in peoples' hands in 2004 if my PM' s and e-mail are any indication. Whether or not they will be shooting twins or Omegas, well that remains to be seen, but the word is definately getting out about these bows. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12
