NS,

Cloth cases are fine if you lay them in the back seat of your car or truck without stacking anything on top of them.
If you want to put your bow in the back of your pick-up where it will get bounced around a little then, imo, a hardcase is a must.
Most any hard case is fine with SKB being the best. Most can be had for around $39.00 to $79.00
SKB goes for around $159.00 for the single and $179.00 for the double case. The double case is the way to go even for a single bow. Lots of room for accessories.
If you want the Cadillac, that would be the Aluminum bodied Americase. Only problem is... the Americase will set you back over $300.00
http://www.fsdiscountarchery.com has several types for sale.

Sorry, NS.
Was in a hurry for appointment earlier today. Forgot to add .com

Newshooter, if you're looking for a good hard case without spending a bundle, take a look at Plano. IMO (in my opinion) IMHO (in my honest opinion).

I'm glad you asked. A few weeks ago I bought a Plano from Rural King and I'm completely satisfied with it. I usually buy the best I can afford but in this &quot;case&quot;, I really just want one that does its job and takes the abuse and serves and protects. This case is the one for the job and costs right at 30 bones. Saves me some money to spend toward a nicer bow IMO <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>.
In other, slightly wordier words; I agree with Turc.

I have both a hard and soft case altho the soft case does not get used any more
I got my hard case from Academy for about 37 dollars I think
it is a bow guard case lockable and has plenty of room for arrows and other stuff
That could be another one for you to check out

I've used SKB cases for years with live sound equipment. They take a beating. When I saw they made a bow case I knew it was the one- I now own 3 of them.

I never like to put my bow in a soft case. You spend all that time in set up and tuning, and then to have a chance at bumping a rest mount or sight pin if the rig gets banged while in a soft case.... No thanks. Even though they can be bulky and heavy, I'll take the security and peace of mind knowing my righ is protected very well in a hard case.

Mitch,

The double SKB or the Contico will work for a bow with a non-detachable quiver.
The Contico is a hard case that goes for around $45.00 Forgot to mention it earlier. It's huge and somewhat heavy though.
