I am using a Muzzy zero effect on a PSE Tazman bow. The shop had no PSE plates, so they used a Hoyt version of the muzzy and it mounted fine. The problem I am having is that I am getting fletch contact on the rest, as indicated by wear on the back side of the rest. I have paper shot it and am getting good holes at 5 and 10 yards and others who have watched my arrow for me says it' s flying good. Should I monkey with it or leave well enough alone???

I had the same problem with my ultra tec. At 10 yrds it shot perfect bullit holes but at 20 and 30 yrds I was scattering arrows everywhere. Never could eliminate fletching contact even with help from my pro shop and muzzzy. Wound up putting a nap quicktune on.

Forgot to add, but I am shooting excellent groups with it, 4" groups at 35 yards and that is with fletch and feathered arrows. Guess I should leave well enough alone.

i just don' t under stand how fletching could hit mine was hitting at first because the movie did' nt tell me that the arrow rest should be below the flat part of the riser but once I figured that out all is good.

Yuo most likely need to get the Mounting arm into one of the furthest holes away from the end. This provides more leverage for the rest and allows the hook to come up higher and lower with the same amount of slide travel.
On that bow I would think the hook arm should be quite a bit below the level of the arrow shelf at rest.......is it? If it is I can' t imagine fletch contact at all.

The the hook arm is above the level of the riser shelf. I believe the mounting arm is in the middle hole. So I should adjust that, so that it is in the hole furtherest from the mounting point for more travel right???

Ok, I moved the hook arm to the lowest hole, which gives me more drop away clearance, but still have trouble with my arrows that have vanes, aren' t matching up with my feathered arrows, so I think there is still some contact., but it is not near as bad as it was.
Guess I' m heading back to the pro shop unless some has any other ideas.
