Default Another broadhead question.

I have had problem shooting my bow this year and I have finally fixed them all and I am getting better groups than ever. Anyways I just shot broadheads out of it the other day and they fly about 3 to 4 inches to the right every time. I bought these 4 arrows I tested this with just for hunting and have not shot field tips with them just broadheads. What I have done to my setup is tightening the spring on the two prong rest, upping the poundage, drawlengt, and thats about it other than the new arrows being dipped. So do you think it just got outta tune or did something that got changed make it different. Thanks for all of your help I don' t want to change my sights and don' t want to aim 3 inches to the left during season. Thanks for all of the help-Sam

Good or even " great groups with field points - in no way indicates a good tune for broadheads.

You need to tweek the setup to get the bh' s grouping well also.

if they group well now - jut move your sight

if you want them to hit in the same spot as your fp' s - then you need to tune that bow a bit more - move rest to the left a very small amount

My Archery Shop did the same thing as you are talking about and I had to move my arrow rest out about 1/6 of an inch to get it back in tune.

Sam.

If you do move the rest resight in with fiels points then shoot the broad heads.
If the gap between the 2 has closed then make further minor adjustments till they impact together.
But after each adjustment be sure to re sight in using field points.
