HELP!!! Darton-magnum 33 or maverick express
I am looking at buying a new bow very soon and I will be using it for whitetail hunting and 3D shooting.
If anyone has shot the Darton Maverick Express Or the Darton Magnum 33, What did you think of them. And which one did you prefer. were they accurate and fast?

In my opinion I would go with the magnum 33.
I have shot it before and it is smooth and
forgiving. I own two Dartons now the cyclone
split limb and the awesome cyclone 3d. I did
own the mavrick but sold it to friend which
he loves and bought my cyclone 3d two years
ago. You can't go wrong with Darton.

I vote for the Darton Maverick Express Recurve right hand camo 70 lbs 28" with limbsavers, peep, Sims cable slide and new Winners Choice strings in excellent condition. Speaking of which I have one I will ship to somebodies door for $295.

RE: HELP!!! Darton-magnum 33 or maverick express
I just started back shooting again after a little lay-off and the bow I always come back to because of the sheer enjoyment of shooting is my Maverick Excpress Rec.
It is the perfect blend of all the good shooting characteristics. Super smooth, plenty fast (a true 315 fps IBO). My 31" gets it over 320. I've got a set of Winner's Choice strings on the way which should boost the speed a tad. The brace height is on the low end, but I think too much of an issue is made of that. If someone who shoots as infrequently as I do can pick up after a few months and make an O.K. sign around his 30 yard groups, it would seem to be a forgiving bow. It's noisier than some, but quieter than most.
My favorite bows are Bowtechs because of their blistering speeds, but I think the best OVERALL bow is the Maverick.

Darton bows with C/P/S cams are very smooth drawing bows. Best on the market, they don't jerk your shoulder off your body when you have to let down. My opinion if you going to use it for hunting and 3D go with the Express. I have a Darton Quad limb that I love. Very enjoyable to shoot. Hunted and shot 3D both with it. 36 in. A to A, I have a 26.5 in. draw shooting 320.4 gr. arrows at 64 lbs. and getting 284 fps. No sense in missing a target any faster then that. Darton has a new bow coming out real soon. Rampage 38 in. A to A. Looks and sounds like the perfect all around bow. I can't wait to give it a try. Dartons are sweet bows. Can't go wrong with a Darton. You know what they say Darton best kept secert. Good luck with your choice.
