Default Thunderhead blades a little loose-help!

I have at least a dozen 100gr Thunderheads and 5 of the dozen have some " play" in one or more of the blades when installed on the arrow. I' m shooting beman ICS 500' s and I have the o-ring adaptors on. Any ideas? Is this just inherent in the product and you can get a few that just don' t fit quite right or am I just doing something wrong when putting them together? I definitely don' t want to shoot something that isn' t solid! Thanks for any input.

You need to use a special adapter for thunderheads on carbon arrows. They are called U.B.A.R.S. universal broadhead adapter rings. Look at their web site for more info.

If your using the UBAR' s then it could be that the O -ring is getting smashed down to much. If this happens the blades will become loose.

Thanks guys.
Buckeyebuckhntr-sorry for the confusion, I meant UBAR' s.

5 shot THANKS! I think you may have it. I think I was smashing the o-rings down too much. I reinstalled a couple of new o-rings and it fixed 3 of them.

I do have a ?
Do you just snug the broadhead down? I' ve always just cranked them down...obviously that was too tight.
