Len in Maryland

We use PL-10. It is also known as a Penn reel lubricant called " Gorilla Grease" . It is a rust inhibitor and I believe it has lithium in it. I took a bow apart the other day that we did 4 years ago. The axles looked like brand new and the bushings were very tight.

On bows that need it, either corrosion X or speed X
Those with sealed bearings need much less attention, but I even try to get some corrosion X in there as well.
Tri-Flow works GREAT as well.

Depending on what the bow has for bearings, i will use tetra bow lube, or a dry lube like finish line . I never use a penetrating lube or oil, like wd-40 or break free.

The wd in " wd-40" stands for water displacement. It isn' t meant as a lubricant. Others are right on with what they have said above.
