Swipe some of the wife/girlfriends' /mistress'
[&:] clearcoat fingernail polish, and coat the ends of the fins where the arrow contacts them, then let it dry. If she has the good stuff, it creates a hard, durable finish that is quiet. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

Yep, I' m w/ Kevin. I use " hard as nails" or something like that. Works great, and because it' s so thin you don' t have to worry about it affecting arrow flight when putting on shrink tube or as the shrink wears.
Of course I made my wife buy it. It' s almost as bad as having to buy those feminine products for her when I do the shopping!

On the Bodoodle I had, I put moleskin on the underside of the fins to muffle the twang and used the nail hardener on topside. Mine had a carriage return spring that I also had to put a bit of soft foam rubber inside to deaden the twang from the spring.
I don' t know if yours has a spring or not (haven' t kept up with Bodoodle for a few years now so I don' t have a clue what the Zapper is), but if it does, try the foam rubber in the spring. Just enough to make contact with the coils, but not so much as to interfere with the workings.

Didn' t your Zapper come with teflon " smoke" tape? If not I would call them and tell them, supposed to be included with every rest.
The nail polish works very well, but in my experience with gold tips, you will need to re-apply it every so often, so make sure you do before you hunt just to be safe.

wrap some fleece around them - that will fix your problem & make everything well again. The people at Bodoodle make a great product and from what I hear they stand behind them. Give them a call & see if they will help you out.
