i got a browning micro adrenanil for my daugther they go up to 50 lbs i belive but if you want to take her hunting i belive most states have a 45lb min. about the bow its a dual cam thou but getspeeds up 260 fps and not to epensive and should acomadate her draw lenth also like the bow alot for her

My girlfreind shoots an Alpine ladies bow at 42lbs for deer. She killed a doe a couple years ago at 25 yards with it. With a cut to the tip broadhead, you would probably be ok at the mid 30 yard range at that low of poundage. Alpine bows are very high quality as to what I see.

I Agree completely with Super X. The Parker Challenger was my first bow (paid $274) and I loved it. I shot my 7 point with it first season at 20 yards, 43 lbs. with a 26 1/2 inch draw. I shot it frequently for 2 years and sold it on eBay with only a peep and nock set installed for $185! I have since upgraded to a Hoyt HavocTec. As much as I like my Hav, I miss the light 2.6 mass weight and smaller cam on the Challenger. Definitely look into it, especially this time of year. You should be able to get a good deal since the 2002 models will be out shortly. Good luck!
