Hunting stabilizer length?

Hunting stabilizer length?
What length stabilizer does everyone use for hunting?
I used a stealth 8" last year, and really liked it.
But I am so used to using longer sticks for 3-d and field stuff that I tried a steath 10" on this years hunting setup. And I like it a little better than the 8" .
Probably just me, the 8" is just as quiet, and recoil free, I just like the weight out a little farther.
How about you guys?

Hey BC,
First off, its good to see you posting again.
As far as my stabilizer goes, I am using a 7" Doinker Stealth Hunter. Its the best stabilizer I have used to date, but, I havn' t tried the Stealth. I am still considering getting a Stealth just from the reviews of you guys.

RE: Hunting stabilizer length?
I use a 10" shockblocker for both hunting and 3d since I shoot the hunters 3d most of the time. I prefer the 10 - 12 inch range.
I really haven' t noticed a difference in my shooting between my 10" stabilizer and my 36" stabilizer.

I use the 8 inch Stealth Hunter when deer and turkey huntin!
With the 8 inch my bow just fits in my bow case and I dont have to worry about taking my stabilizer on and off.......seems like Im always runnin late on those morning hunts!!!!!! hee,hee....how about you guys?
I shoot good groups out to 30 yards with the 8 inch and most of the time my shots at whitetails and turkey are " MUCH" closer.
I have found that at longer ranges ( 30 to 50 yards) I group much better with a long stabilizer, ( as most of us do). Im goin antelope huntin in western NE in august and will have a 12 inch Stealth 3-D stabilizer on my bow as the odds of taking a 30 yard plus shot at a " Lope" are pretty good!

I' m using a 2" Doinker D2.[:' (] It' s not the size of the boat, its the motion in the ocean.[X(] Oops! Nevermind. Anyway, I shoot a Mathews Legacy which is pretty well balanced for my purposes. (Hunting and 3D) So I just use a little stabilizer for recoil/sound reduction.
8 - 10 - 12 inches? WOW
