Wow, Thanks for the info! I do appreciate it. The store in Everett is about 1 & half hours away. But I think that other suppliers should have something similar. Thanks again.

Bob, or C903, what is all thread? Also, about how much $$$$ dies it cost to make a target like this? Can you get the " fiberboard" insulation at Home Depot?

BobCo: All thread is just a piece of threaded rod. It has threads for screwing on the nuts its whole length. Yes the sell all you need at Home depot. At least here in Wi. they do. A couple other names for the board could be; sound board, high density board(hd), wood fibered insulation, or recovery board.

I made a RubberMaid RoughNeck target. Just take the large sized Rubbermaid or similiar brand, cut a square hole in the lid. I cut mine just smaller than the targets I use. Then fill it up with whatever...old clothes, plastic, carpet, rubber mud flaps, cardboard. I then used about 2" of flat cardboard as the top layer. Drop your target on and snap on the lid. It works great, is easy to transport and refill if need be. And it costs about $5. I' ve attached a pic.

Dacotah, do you use that for broadheads as the topic asks?

No, I haven' t yet but I see no reason why it wouldn' t work if filled with the right material.

According to the horizontal plane of those shafts that are in the spots, Dacotah had to be in a prone position when he fired.

Dacotah, that' s a unique and great idea. I have a bunch of burlap bags and a spare tote laying around, I' ll have to give this a shot when/if my bag target gives up the ghost...

Until then, I suppose you could fill the tote with expanding foam and use broadheads with it... not sure broadheads would be easy to pull out of compacted burlap
