RE: copperjohn or spothogg
I own both, on different bows. The SpotHogg sits closer in to the riser, so I think it is better for hunting, especially with a clumsy person like me who is always knocking things with the bow. It is super strong and the pins are rugged too. The CopperJohns sits further out and seems therefore more suitable for faster bows shooting longer distances. It is pretty strong too, but not like the SpotHogg.
What I don' t like about SpotHogg is a) the wall thickness of the guard. Just not as nice to look through as the CopperJohns. b) The wall has a white ring, while the CopperJohns has an orange/red ring that you look through. White is not a good color to use - it is more difficult to look through a white ring than an orange/red ring.

I own a Copper John Dead Nuts Pro and love mine a great tough sight, it is worth every penny I paid for it. But I also agree with other posts in saying ther Spott Hogg is great also. I think whichever sight you choose you will be plenty satisfied.
