RE: copperjohn or spothogg
I stated earlier Copper John but I have noticed that since I have been shooting this sight for awhile it makes a weird noise at the shot. I took the sight off and the sound is gone. I checked all the screws for tightness and even put a small limbsaver on the sight but the noise is still there. I haven' t tired a Hogg yet but maybe it' s time.

I looked at both....Copper John and Hogg' s sight.
I currently shoot a trophy ridge and the reason why I wanted to change
is because don' t find my pins to be the brightest in low light conditions.
When I was looking to buy my new sight, I ended up leaving the store
empty handed because I couldnt' decide. The Spott Hogg looked to be
superior in quality, no doubt. But the pins didn' t look nearly as bright
as the Copper John' s. Does anyone has this problem? How are the
Hogg' s pins in low light conditions?

Hogg.
I own 2 and did have an issue but the warranty & serivce was AWESOME.
As for the pricing - if you compare apples to apples they' ll be dang close - remember - the hoggit has 2nd & 3rd axis adjustment, individual and gang micro adjustments. You gotta find those features on the CJ before comparing $$.
I use my hoggs for everything - IMHO there' s nothing more accurate.
