Winners Choice fixed me up and replaced the cable that I had a problem with plus went an extra mile for me in another area.![Smile](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Now my question- I understand as I twist my buss cable I get two results- increased poundage and a longer draw length. I installed my cable put on a new string and got close to the original " white out " marks I had previously marked on my cam, but after bottoming out my limb bolts and checking for poundage on a scale I found that the poundage was around 73/74 on a 70# supposedly max bow. Now I could either just back the limb bolts out 1 turn and get very close to 70 lbs or I could do what.....
If I put some twists in my string I would decrease my drawlength BUT would this also decrease the draw weight. Id liketo have the bolts bottomed out but not be pulling 73/74 lbs but be at the stated 70 #S. My scale seems accurate to within 1 lb
Also is it common for a bow to actually have more capacity for stated draw weight than whats put on the limbs this bow is a Q2xl
Ive got to learn to do this stuff on my own there just aint no real bow mechanics around!!!!

I' m kinda in the same boat you are I just got new winners choice stings too. and I' m getting set up. You could take a couple of twists out of your cable to get back to specs. I was just doing some twisting tonight. I' m almost where I need to be but, I think I need to shoot a little bit more to get the string and cables fully settled. Good luck.
