For the Bowhunter the Muzzy Zero effect is going to be first on my list. I have tried a couple differnt drop aways and the Muzzy seems to have the best features for the bowhunter.

I would have to agree that the Muzzy seems to have withstood the test of time. It is a bit larger in overall size than most of the other models on the market but it definitely is durable and reliable.

I too vote for the Muzzy but I have used the Trophy Taker, QT 4000 and the Trapdoor without any major problems. I like the Muzzy because it performs great for hunting and it makes zero noise.

If you have an old Premier rest you can make one yourself. Just get the opposite handed prong and put in, turn the spring tension adjustment to where it doesn' t have any tension and then loosen one click, put a longer set screw in to hold the prong in place and attach a rope from it to the cable. You' ll have to play with the length of the rope to get it right. Cheap way to find out if you' ll like one. Several of us locally have it this way and have no problems with them.
