RE: my bowstring keeps hitting my arm??
when i shoot my bow i put the notch in the grip in the notch between my thumb and index finger bones in my palm. That is the only part that touches the bow, too see if you are doing it right your knuckles should be at a 45 degree angle, this takes away from torque and rotates your elbow and stuff out away from the bow

If the string is raking you down to about the middle of your forearm, then it' s likely form or draw length. If it' s stinging you down around the wrist, it might something completely different.
Check to make sure your bow' s brace height and axle to axle length are in spec. They might have creeped and left too little tension in the rigging.
If you' re shooting arrows that weigh around 5 grains per pound, try adding some weight to your arrows.
Check to make sure your nocks aren' t too tight on your string. They could actually be towing the string forward of where it would otherwise go before they snap loose. That will also cause tuning and accuracy problems and rob you of arrow speed and energy.
