Default Martin Bows?

I am looking into getting a Martin bow, and I am down to 2. The Altitude and the Rage II. Can any of you give me any reasons to sway me to one or the other? I appriciate the info. Dan.

I would go with the Rage. I shot the Altitude and loved it, but bought a Cougar Mag because it felt more stable to me(longer ATA). The Rage has longer ATA and BH and at 301fps. Love Martin bows smooth, quiet, fast and less $$$ than most.

I like the martin line i don' t think i would shot either cougar mag with the solo cam is faster then the alittude and holds it own on the rage... look at them all they have a great line up of options on limbs/ cam combos.
thanks greg

I own two Altitudes...one sunburst and one camo. They shoot a lot better than the 30.5" ATA would suggest. What happened was I got a deal I couldn' t pass up on the one of a kind sunburst. After shooting it, I thought that it would make an awesome hunting bow, so I bought another in camo. I like most of their current lineup. Cougar III SE and the Prowler look like great hunting bows also.

I haven' t shot either but currently own a Cougar Mag and Phantom Mag, both are very accurate, quiet, fast and functioned flawlessly in the woods and on the range. A buddy however just bought a Rage and loves it to death, he said it is the nicest bow he has ever shot. To be honest haven' t heard to many complain about any martin offering as of late, so I think you' ll be pleased with whichever you choose. If you can get your hands on a few and shoot a few arrows, let the feel due the talking!
