VS,

If you go with the sliding bar sights, you will have to shoot open class and compete against the movable sights with scopes.
Start saving your pennies.
I checked out HTM, Sure-Loc, Toxonics, CBE, and Copper John last year.
I went with the HTM because, to me, it was the best built of the bunch. But all of them will do the job. The hard part anymore is deciding on what scope to go with.
The TrueSpot is getting allot of press at Archer's Retreat, lately.
Good luck in choosing.

VS, save your pennies. I have tried all listed here, except the copper john. I have heard good things about them. As far as the rest go, custom bow equipment, IMHO, makes the simplist, most dependable, slider that I have ever used. I have never, ever had a failure of any type, with a CBE. I have never heard of one, either.

I'm a Sure-loc fan! I have two Sure-loc lites and one Sure-loc Challenger which have served me well the last few years.
All the ones you listed are quality sights, although the Check-it's are the least IMHO.
The HTM's are a very nice sight as well, and when it's time for me to buy a new one it may very well be the HTM.

Unless check-it made something really new in the last year, I would have to agree with OHARCHER, check-its are not real good.
Take a shot....and check-it!

Varmint, You shoot HC right, Ever plan to move up? I got a Sur-Loc Challenger Hunter Kit. This is an adjustable site but it all so comes with 4 pins. Later when and if you decide to move up in the classes you can install a scope and you ready to rock no need to buy a new site. Here is a link to the site I am talking about. and I got one for a lot less than you would think.
