Default Aluminum arrows?

I am looking at picking some up to play with and was wondering what size would work for me. 55lb,28in draw, 27.5'' arrow with 100gr head and 3 4'' feathers out of a Guardian. 2212,2213,2215,2312? Thanks!

Almost any of those listed would work, but you have to decide whether you want speed or durability. For durability go with the heavier wall.

Finally a question I can answer. Wall thickness is the last 2 numbers.

2213

22 - Diameter in 64ths of an inch = 22/64
13 - Wall thickness in thousandths of an inch = .013

if you like a heavier arrow you can get a 2117 in a easton superslam....it would work with your setup

2117 is .407 spine and weight is 12 grains per inch
2213 is .460 spine and 9.8 grains per inch

the spines of the two are close...
personally i like the heavier arrows.....they are more durable and makes bow a little quieter. and the arrows hit a little harder in hunting situations....but youll lose some speed...

if your shooting mostly under 30 yards you wont notice the speed loss...

to me the advantage of a modern high poweredcompound isto beable to shoot the heaviest arrow possible and still shoot a flat trajectory out to 20 yards....fir hunting anyway.

Target shooting is about distance thow so if your going target go lighter.

Also outside diameter of the shaft effects spine more than wall thickness...
a 2018 has a spine of .464
a 2213 hasa spineof .460
the 2213 is quite a bit fatter but at the same time its lighter but stillhas the same spine

think of it likea thicker fatterbranch is harder to bend/break than a thinner one....
the wall thickness adds some spine but mostelyadds the wieght

the 2018 is another option for you as well....

you can get them in easton camo hunter xx75 cheap online bareshafts...i like to go threw eagle archery for my arrows
