Right or Left Helical?

Right or Left Helical?
OK guys, which way do I want to go. I recently put a drop away on my bow and I want to get the clamp for my fletcher. My only question is, does it matter which helical I get?
I always heard you want the arrow to spin clockwise looking at the nock on a right hand bow. Is this true or does it even matter?
Thanks!!

RE: Right or Left Helical?
I believe the Left/Right helical issue was more for the recurve and stick bow guys than those shooting compounds, especially with drop away rests.
In that I do not think it matters I would choose the helical that will spin to tighten rather than loosen the tip (Right helical)

The old saying was right helical for right handed, left for left. But thats been recently disproven, and it doesn' t seem to matter long as use one of them. Just a personal perference now. I am right handed, and been using rights since the old saying so never switched.

It doesn' t really matter but a right helical will not loosen your points on impact like a left helical will. Also it is probably be much easier to find feathers in right helical than left,if that is a concern.
I personally prefer a straight clamp and just putting some offset on it.
