Default vertical or horizontal pin

I am undecided between vertical and horizontal pins any thoughts? I am thinking the new Trophy Ridge or the top model Spott Hogg or Copper John Dead Nuts. Any opinions on these please?

I hate multiple vertical pins.A 1 pin vertical system is fine but when you get multiple vertical pins, the sight picture gets cluttered and the bottom pins are much harder to see in low light.
