How about attaching to the cable slide, on bows that have the slide with the little hole?

The Schaffer can't because of design. Not sure which dropaways can be used with cable slide.

RE: Binary timing using dropaway attached to downward cable
I battled my Muzzy ZE for about 4 months last year and had finally decided I'd have to shoot feathers. Try as I might I couldn't get rid of the clearance issues. Then before the season got here I decided I didn't want to battle feathers all season (I can't help it I hate tatered feathers and mine always seem to wind up that way) so I put my good ol Tigertuff 3 prong rest back on and that's what I used all season. I had decided I'd put a Limbdriver on after the season was over and yesterday was the day. I don't know why I waited!! In about 15 min. I was shooting bullet holes and after another 30 min. of some walk back work and broadhead tuning I was shooting tighter groups than I have shot in a long time. Come on turkey season!!
