Jason, when the manufacturer talks about 5 grains per pound of draw weight for warrantythey mean a completely finished arrow weight with broadheads, vanes, inserts, and nocks installed.

You shouldbe able to easily achieve this weight, 370 grains in your case, with most carbon arrows on the market today. Many will be able to finish much heavier than this.

Some of the heavier arrows on the market include.....
Carbon Express -terminator XP selectsand Rebel
Easton - ACC, Axis and Axis FMJ
Beman -ICS camo hunter and MFX
Carbon Impact -Titan XLT

Never been able to spell well....actually typing is more the issue....LOL

With my trad bows I tend to shoot heavy arrows so I know I'll have penetration. With my old compound (65lbs) with 45/60 CX Terminators I've had pass throughs no problem. Going up in weight I did not think I'd have a problem but I knew I did not want an ultralight arrow and risk damaging the bow.

As my math started to make sense to me I realized 400-450 is going to be my goal for these arrows. This bow seems fast so why not use it right...

I asked the questions because its been a long while since I figured this and arrows were a bit different. And I didn't want (and can't afford) to spend money and waste it.

Thanks for your alls help. It all makes sense now.

Jason

The correct response to "O - H....." is "I - O!!!!"

See and I can't read either.....I skipped right over that....I just assumed I typed something wrong.

Anyway I found some 6075 terminators I had mistakenly bought a few years ago. So I had them cut down to 29 at bass pro. I spent a few minutes shooting this afternoon. Still need to papertune etc. But at least I can shoot.

Already I think I could comfortable shoot 20-25 yards.

Anyway thanks for the help.
