Default Stringing a Recurve

So I thought I would share a little story with ya before I go hunting. Yesterday, during the OSU trouncing of Meeeeeeeechigan, I helped my buddy's dad restring his 2 black widow recurves. So we put the stringing pull (not sure the technical term) on the bow and attach it to both limbs. The first bow went great. 2nd bow-- not so fun. While pulling the limbs back with the restringing device -- the string that is stepped on snapped and the limb came back and smacked me dead in the face.It was a good learning experience, and a painful one at that. My first time dealing with a recurve. Pulling back a 90 lb recurve isn't fun with a 30.5 inch draw.
