newbie help?
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to a good book or video etc that explains everything about bow hunting/shooting like what tuning means (and why some bows don' t need it or is it timing??)and how to do it, how to buy arrows, spline, thickness? stiffness, weight , broadhead weight, etc so that I could buy the correct stuff myself and set it up properly. Just started out with some kit from PSE and everything was setup by my shop. Shop was great, and intend on staying with them but would like to know this stuff instead of just relying on someone elses opinion. Finally decided I will try out a bow this season. Thanks for any help.

RE: newbie help?
Check out some of the free info available on this forum and then check out free info at places like, www.huntersfriend.com
Easton has a great web page with lots of information and even PSE should be able to send you much of the info you request. Then you have the option of joining IBO and receiving your copies of Bowhunting World each month the helpful tips and up to date info contained within will be of a large help and give the insight to much of the items you spoke of, another web page is setup by Gold Tip arrows and you will be able to gain from their knowledge, www.lancasterArchery.com is another very helpful site with many tips and pointers to help with tuning and setup.
I hope you will find this useful and welcome to one of the greatest sports you will ever join.[8D]
