To answer your direct question: I'd go with 3" or 4" helical feathers.
To answer your dilemma: You can shoot the Blazers through that rest just fine without clearance issues (even helical fletched). Get the nocks indexed correctly and get the rest timing set to drop before the fletchings get to it and you'll be in business without the expense or hassle of refletching.

50 yards really isn't all that much distance but less is better at distance when shooting light,fast arrows.Too much drag will cause groups to open but hunting distances and hunting arrows really don't push that much.
That being said,I still use 4 " feathers on my hunting rig,there really just is none better for what hunting requires imo.
