What arrow is it for? I know that is the outside diameter of several carbon arrows. Is this for an aluminum of some type?

The arrow is a Arrow dynamics Nitro Stinger . It is a tapered arrow . I would think the Easton aluminum arrows would have some sort of selection and there are several diameter sizes ............

Yeah, I know that shaft well. They are made about 2 miles from my house here in Topeka, KS.
You can get Nitro Stinger inserts easiest here: http://www.lancasterarchery.com/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=27&products_ id=1556&osCsid=da9d52e6467f29c1634642e99de32d2 9

Arrow Dynamics has lost their domain, so their website is no longer active so, if you run in to problems, you can use this number to contact them during business hours: (785) 233-9541

Thanks Snood . I was on their site about a week ago and like you said , it's gone . I thought it might be easier and cheaper if there was an Easton Insert that i could purchase locally . I had to go online to buy the darned nocks as I have been breaking them .

Went to Gander Mt today asI was in the area . The fellow in the archery dept looked through three boxes of assorted inserts . I had taken a cutoff piece from one of my arrows . The insert for the 2013 worked real slick . Thanks Gander Mountain !

Glad I have typical diameter arrows! But I have started making my own brass inserts...I like heavy!
