Default What weight broadhead ????Muzzy???

What to shoot Muzzy broadheads- 3 or 4 blades,,used them years ago when they first came out with a browing bow. Over the years went to other brandbroadheads that were suppose to be new and the best thing sice sliced bread, well you know how that goes, you should stick with what works for you,,,,along the way I switched to a Martin bow,,,,slacked off bow hunting for several years due to time restraits and demands,,, making time to do things again that I enjoy so I'm in the process of getting back into bow hunting now.
My bow is a Martin Lynx, set at 65lbs., my arrows are 31" Avia 2219 Accura, feathers.
My bow and arrows are still in good shape, want to use muzzy broad heads.
What would you reccomend???? 3 or 4 blade ??? What weight????
Opinions/information is appreceiated.
Sorry for such a long winded post but I'm excited and got the fever again.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I would go with a 4 blade head to do more damage and use a head heavy enough to give you at least a minimum of 12% FOC.

Also if the bow has been sitting for that long take a good hard look at the string. It may be time for a new one!

For Muzzy, I like the MX-3.

Any muzzy head is a good choice. That said the MX-3 is in my opinion the finest head Muzzy has every made.

MeanV2 is spot on with the 4 blade head doing more damage than a3 blade head.

I switched from Rockies 3-blade to Slick Trick 4 blade magnums last year. I am really impressed by the 4 blade hole.

With that said, with 100 gr heads, you can always add weight to increase up as high as you want. With a 125 gr head, you can't go back down if need be.

The most important two aspects to look at is FOC and Spine. Choose the right head for your setup.
