broadheads shooting low
I apologize if this question has been asked before. I am on a dial-up connection and it is taking me forever to do any searching. Anyway, I am shooting 29" Gold Tip CAA out of my Reflex Highlander bow (29" draw). I am shooting really good groups out to 60 yards with my 100 grain fieldtips. I then switched over and starting shooting my 100 grain SlickTrick broadheads and they are shooting about 4-5" low. SlickTricks normally shoot right on and they did for me last year when I was still shooting aluminum arrows. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using a Whisker Biscuit rest and Blazer vains. The overall weight of the arrow is 428 grains shooting at about 260-270 fps. Thanks.

You have to make sure your bow is tuned. If you just switched arrows and did nothing else your bow is probably no where near tuned. You can use my link to help you get started with the tuning process.

I adjusted the knock and got the broadheads to hit right-on with the sights, but now my fieldtips are not corresponding with the sights. Should I try to get the broadheads and fieldtips to group and then adjust the sights?

About 2" at 40 yards. It's amazing how much a little adjustment to the rest or the knock will affect the broadheads, but doesn't really affect the fieldtips. I shot this afternoon for almost an hour and a half until I started getting tired. I will try again tomorrow, while I am fresh, to dial everything in.

With just two inches at 40yds you should be getting close.....You did the right thing by not trying to make adjustments while being burnt out!!!! Keep tweaking and you will get it right

It makes perfect sense. Your new carbon arrows probably have a smaller diameter than your old aluminum arrows. Moving the rest up just brought the centerline of your arrow where it needed to be.
