ORIGINAL: JoesBow

Bowtech General
26 inch DL, Set at 55 lbs

Carbon Express Maxima 250
335gr arrow tip is 100gr

the crono said 243fps they said it has 44 ft/lbs KE

I told them I wanted a heavier arrow, something that would give me a punch and not fly like a rock. They just did a paper tune and picked the arrow that made a bullet hole, do you think these will workout for me?
The KE seems kinda low.

Thanks for all the help Guys.
Your arrows are overspined. I'm going to be shooting The same arrows at 60#, 28" draw, arrows cut at 29", with 150 grains of weight in front of the arrow. And I will be shooting a 350 spine (weaker spine than the 250).

While your setup may work OK, there would have been better choices IMO.

The 500 Axis would be a great shaft for you and should yield better penetration.

Don't expect a lot of KE out of a 26" draw 55# General
