I know the regular MZE works on the Patriot but maybe you can try the new style MZE like the Mathews Legacy uses.

It doesn' t have the cable slide on it but uses a string? attached to the cable to raise the arm instead.

You may be able to get a conversion kit for yours, I' m not real sure.

Call Muzzy at 1-800-222-7769 and ask them.

Just a thought...

Ijimmy but I have no problems with my bow at all thats why I asked if it makes any difference at all.Like I said before my cables cross on the bottom part of my slide and I' m having no problems The only guess that I have somewhat came up is that if it is on top you gain more travel,Am I wrong?

Btpatriot it is true that you will get more travel with them crossing above the slide BUT you are forgetting probably the most important rule [ if if aint broke dont fix if ] cause if you go messing with something that is working fine [especialy in archery ] then you open up another can of worms . If its working well for you and your not getting contact leave it alone .

Fellows, all of you are correct. And a great big hello oscar i think we talked yesterday. IF and thats a big if you have the clearence with the cables crossing on the bottom leave it. And in responce to the gentleman that said " if it is not broke don' t fix it " In a sense that is true but there are only two ways to learn. You learn by your own experence or by other peoples experence. What i am saying is there is nothing wrong with playing with your bow as long as you can set it back up the way it was. After all this is what MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND.Eric

I would like to know if their is any advantages to having more travel and does having more travel mess up your draw length?
