RE: Down range velocity
I would personally be getting a little nervous shooting through the chronograph past 40 yards. I accidently hit one of these with a .300 Winchester once - just put the pieces in a 5 gallon bucket and came on home.

My buddy was very afraid to shoot at 20 yds. But settled in well enough.

RE: Down range velocity
I've wondered about downrange speedand I would have thought that the loss would be greater than 20 fps. I'd be interested to find outhow different types of fletchings effected downrange velocity also.
