Default 36" draw??

I was browsing through some bows on ebay and came across a bowtech Ally. The lister doesn't appear to be an archer, just a seller. The draw length is listed at 36". . .is that even possible?? I don't recall seeing a draw length longer than 31. . .but I'm no expert by any means.

I've seen them do that several times - get the ATA cornfused with the draw length.

lMAO . . .thanx Va, a week ago you had me questioning my decision to buy a QAD pro AFTER I ordered it, lol. . .and now this!. . .cuz I already bought the bow [8D]. . .I had no choice but to assume it was either a typo or misinformation from the sellers lack ofknowledge about the bow (which was also evident in the price I paid for it)

The Ally only goes up to 30.5" draw I believe. That is ATA that they listed. I've never seen a commercially available draw length over 32" and even that is hard to find. Anything above that would have to be custom.

So I did a little snooping around on Ebay and I found the bow you bought. I'm thinking you might have made a little bit of a mistake. Yes it's a decent price but I don't think you should have bought the bow without knowing the draw length. THe model Allegiance you bought is an 05'. The 05' model Allegiance's, you can't adjust the draw length without adjusting the cams. Being that it is an 05', I'm not sure just how hard it will be to locate the correct cams you need in order to adjust the draw length. Just an FYI

BTW, you got a "decent" deal. It's a 2005 model bow. They go pretty cheap now days.
