Chasebaker, what you need to do is send that picture into mythbusters on the discoverychannel b/c they had an episode i saw recently where they "busted" the "myth" that it is possible to "split" an arrow lol! i thought it was hilarious but it also kinda made me mad too b/c i know quite a few people who have done it multiple times.
That was to disprove that it was possible to split a wooden arrow from one end to the other wasn't it?


Chase,notice how most pros grip their bow,most have a semi closed RELAXED grip.You never see a stiff open hand.

but... they also tried it with a carbon arrow and couldnt duplicate that either. they just splintered it up, but whatever. i would guess aluminum arrows would be easiest to do it with?
