I am thinking about trying a Tru-Glo (I already have one to try) pendulum sight on my Mathews Switchback. What is the real range and how well do they work? Bow speed is 270 FPS

At that speed, you really DON'T need one. I personally think they have their place on the OLD slow-bows on the 80's, but with today's bows, they aren't really worth the money. Onthat really short shot, unless you've shot it you'll likely be borderline anyway. Practice eliminates the need for a pendulum site. JMO.

Tell ya what. Being as you already have the sight why don't you put it on your bow and check it out. Then you could post a report for the rest of us. That would be a lot more useful than asking about it.

I would guess somewhere in the range of 32 yds, but like someone said, put it on and let us know.
Pendulums are the only sights that I have seen where dead on = dead on, whether you are shooting 8 yds or 23 yds.
