RE: What bow are you ordering in '03 and why?
I was fortunate, I didn't have to order the two bows I bought this year. Both pro shops had my size and fit on the shelf.
I purchased an '03 Hoyt Cybertec with an HHA Opitimizer Lite sight, Quicktune 3000 rest, Bohning detach quiver, and doinker 4" stabilizer. I'll be shooting PSE Carbon Force 300 Dominator that weigh in at 380 grains.
I also bought an '03 Bowtech EX VFT, HHA Optimizer Lite Sight, Golden Key Futura rest, Quikee detach quiver, no stabilizer. I think a stabilizer on this bow will make it a bit front heavy. I'll be using the same arrows mentioned above with the Hoyt.

The reasoning behind these two choices was that I rarely find a bow that (a) I like the looks of, and (b) it feels good in my hands.
Both of these bows are light, fast, quiet, and with a reasonably short brace height, 6 5/8 on both bows, believe it or not, their pretty forgiving. Maybe its because I'm used to shooting my MagnaTec with the same brace height.

Hoyt Havoctec (Last years model). Didn' t order, purchased off the shelf at my local pro shop. First bow I' ve bought since 1968. Had one given to me about 8 yrs ago and decided it was time for something new. I liked the way the Hoyt felt in my hands, and I liked the way it shot. Of course I couldn' t beat the price either.
